Nov 5 – 11:59 PM: Registration deadline, $25 surcharge added after this deadline (see policy below)
Nov 9: League play begins

Fees

NOTE – when you register as an individual member of Curl Mesabi, this DOES NOT register your entire team.
Skips, contact a league coordinator to register your team.

* A $25 surcharge will be added to all membership fees after 11:59 PM November 5th.

1st year curler – $160* / single or multiple leagues
(never played at Curl Mesabi or not for 5 years)
2nd year curler – $215* / single or multiple leagues
3rd years & longer – $270* / single league
3rd years & longer – $330* / multiple leagues
Youth – $100* / under 18 – single or multiple leagues (Participation in Curl Mesabi Junior Curling does not include league play – you must purchase a Youth Membership)
Snowbird – $185 / 6 weeks – senior league only
Social Member – $100 / not curling
“A Good Place to Start” Beginner League – $60 per session
Three sessions: Play in one, play in all three Recommended for folks with less than 3 years of curling experience, or an experienced curler wanting to try out a different position. There is no fee for the “Good Place to Start” league if you pay for a single or multiple league membership.

Policies & Rules

Membership Registration Deadline

All registration and dues payments must be completed by 11:59 PM on November 5th, a $25 surcharge will be applied to any registration or payment received after this deadline.

League Ice Access Requirement

Members must complete registration and payment before participating in league play.
No member may play with their team until their registration is complete and dues are paid in full.

Membership Payment Method

Registration and dues payments must be completed online via credit card.
Members who need to make alternative payment or registration arrangements should contact the Membership Coordinator prior to the registration deadline.

Multi-League Participation

Members appearing on multiple team rosters must pay dues corresponding to the number of leagues in which they participate. For example, members on two rosters much purchase a multi-league membership.
NOTE – Senior League is considered a multi-league membership.

Substitution Play

Members may substitute in additional leagues beyond their registered league(s), subject to Curl Mesabi’s standard substitution policy.
Non-paying members cannot be listed on a team roster, even if they sub three times or less.

Subbing Policy

Anyone may play as a substitute up to 3 times without paying for a membership – after 3 times, you must join as a full one league member.
If you are already a member of one league, you may sub up to 3 times without an additional fee – after 3 times, you must pay the additional $60 for two leagues.
If you are a member of two leagues, sub as often as you like with no additional fee!

Rules of Curling

USA Curling follows the World Curling Rules of Play.
We will be doing the same for Curl Mesabi Leagues, with the exception that we will NOT follow the no tick rule.
