Membership Registration and Dues Policy

Registration Deadline

• All registration and dues payments must be completed by 11:59 PM on November 5th, a $25 surcharge will be applied to any registration or payment received after this deadline.

Ice Access Requirement

• Members must complete registration and payment before participating in league play.
• No member may play with their team until their registration is complete and dues are paid in full.

Payment Method

• Registration and dues payments must be completed online via credit card.
• Members who need to make alternative payment or registration arrangements should contact the Membership Coordinator prior to the registration deadline.

Multi-League Participation

• Members appearing on multiple team rosters must pay dues corresponding to the number of leagues in which they participate. For example, members on two rosters much purchase a multi-league membership.
• NOTE – Senior League is considered a multi-league membership.

Substitution Play

• Members may substitute in additional leagues beyond their registered league(s), subject to Curl Mesabi’s standard substitution policy.
• Non-paying members cannot be listed on a team roster, even if they sub three times or less.

Subbing Policy

• Anyone may play as a substitute up to 3 times without paying for a membership – after 3 times, you must join as a full one league member.
• If you are already a member of one league, you may sub up to 3 times without an additional fee – after 3 times, you must pay the additional $60 for two leagues. 
  
• If you are a member of two leagues, sub as often as you like with no additional fee!

Rules of Curling

• USA Curling will now be following the World Curling Federation 2023 Rules of Play.
• We will be doing the same for Curl Mesabi Leagues, with the exception that we will NOT follow the no tick rule.
