About Curl Mesabi
Curl Mesabi was formed through the merger of three small curling clubs in Eveleth, Gilbert and Virginia. Each club had a long history in each community and became known collectively as Curl Mesabi in 1998.

Curl Mesabi is located at the Range Recreation Civic Center – home to a world class event center and eight sheet curling facility located in Eveleth, Minnesota.
Curl Mesabi has over 300 members including men, women, seniors and juniors. Curl Mesabi is governed by a nine member Board of Directors.
There are many different opportunities to curl at Curl Mesabi, including – Weekly Leagues, Bonspiels, and Learn to Curl programs.

Open during the curling season – the Free Guard Zone is our fully stocked bar, just steps away from the arena viewing area. Have a drink after your time on the ice, watch some curling on a league night or bonspiel weekend, and there’s always a sporting event on TV (including curling when available).
Pro Shop
Stop by our Pro-Shop for Curl Mesabi clothing and curling supplies:
- Curling brooms & sticks
- Curling shoes (limited to stock on hand)
- Grippers, sliders, protective headgear
- Curl Mesabi logo clothing – sweatshirts, jackets, t-shirts, hats
- Curling pants for men & women
Open during the curling season November to March (call in advance if you’re making a special trip)
