Check out the latest article on the Super One Shoot out SUPER ONE SHOOT-OUT @ CURL MESABI December 19th - 21st Dear Curlers, We would like to invite you to the Super One Shoot-Out at Curl Mesabi in Eveleth, MN. This year's event will be December 19th - 21st. We are proud to announce our partnership with Super One Foods as the major sponsor for our event. We also are partnering with Starkovich distributing as our official Beer distributor. It will again be a part of the World Curling Tour. Qualifying teams will be awarded cash prizes along with CTRS Points. The purse size this year will be a minimum of $20,000. This will be based on a 32 team field. We were able to increase the prize money $6,000 due in part with all of our great sponsors that we have attained this year. The event will have the same format as last year. It will be a 32 team Modified Double Knock-out with a consolation bracket. There will be 4 teams that qualify out of the A- Bracket & 4 teams that qualify out of the B- Bracket. All games will be 8 ends. Draws will start on Friday at 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM. The bonspiel committee will do its best to accommodate teams that wish to play the later draw on Friday, Please let us know soonest as this will be a first come first served accommodation. Please fill out the enclosed forms in detail and send them today with the $500 entry fee to secure your spot in the event. The entry fee must be paid, and all registration material received no later than December 1, 2008. We will be accepting post-dated checks, dated no later than December 1st 2008.
